“I signed up to be on the show because I thought it would be good fun and a great experience.
I’ve been single for a while now and both my job and where I live don’t make dating all that easy, so I had nothing to lose.”
Do you find your happy ending on the show?
“I can’t give too much away but, as cliche as it sounds, I learn a lot.
David from LITC on how he came out to his familyMartin from LITC: “There’s no doubt who I wanted to date”Grace from LITC: “There’s no such thing as a ‘farmer’s wife'”What did you learn about yourself during the process?
I’ve also learnt that where I live and what I do are only part of the reason why I haven’t had a relationship for a while. I realised that my lack of confidence and my worry of potentially having to let someone down, should it not feel right, has held me back.
It would be lovely to think that the person I end up with would feel the same way about rural life and one day we could buy a small holding with a couple of horses, some goats and some chickens.”
