Lady Gaga Just Addressed Rumors That She’s Pregnant—with News of an Upcoming Album

In case you missed it, tabloids recently insisted that Lady Gaga was pregnant. These baseless rumors followed the end of her engagement to Christian Carino plus a steamy performance with Bradley Cooper at the Oscars which fueled speculation that she was dating her A Star Is Born co-star.

So is she expecting? The answer is a solid no.

On Tuesday, the 32-year-old took to Twitter to squash the pregnancy talk and also offer an update that has Little Monsters losing their minds. “Rumors I’m pregnant? Yeah, I’m pregnant with #LG6,” she wrote, referring to the name fans use to talk about her highly-anticipated sixth studio album.

It’s been three years since the 2016 release of her fifth album Joanne, which was followed by the soundtrack to A Star Is Born with Bradley Cooper. In response to her tweet, fans joked about the pregnancy and excitement over new music, writing things like, “I hope your water breaks.”

Fans also believe that a possible collaboration with Rihanna and musician Bloodpop could be in the works since she recently began following them on Instagram.

Traditionally, Gaga’s new projects are seriously kept under wraps until they’re just about ready to, you know, hatch, so it’s particularly exciting that she confirmed we’ll have new Gaga songs soon.

Earlier this year, the pop star upped her total Grammy wins to nine thanks to the success of “Shallow” and “Joanne (Where Do You Think You’re Goin’?).

We have a sneaking suspicion that number will only keep on climbing.
