Local luncheon helps women take control of their health

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX) – A local organization is helping woman take control of their health at the annual Go Red for Women Luncheon coming Thursday, May 2 to the Hilton College Station. Each year, the event attracts over 350 women to celebrate healthy living and learn more about the risk factors and warning signs of heart disease.

The keynote speaker at this year’s event will be Tracy Conway. The luncheon will also feature a silent auction with relaxation packages, shopping sprees, wine experiences, jewelry and restaurant packages.

Those interested in the event can purchase tickets, sponsor a table, donate to the silent auction or donate to the American Heart Association. The deadline to get tickets is April 22, you can find them by following the link in the related links section of this page.
