Port Jeff salon owner was styling at the first Hamptons Fashion Week

Another successful fashion week is in the books for Port Jeff hair salon owner Kristine Murillo.

Murillo, who’s worked on 14 shows during New York Fashion Week over the last 5 years, helped run the first-ever Hamptons Fashion Week on Sunday. She was in charge of styling the models for the runway performance.

“It was a great day overall,” said Murillo, who owns  Fedora Lounge Boutique Hair Salon and Hair Replacement Studio, following the festivities. “It was even better knowing the proce were going to a great cause.”

Hamptons Fashion Week, held in Bridgehampton, was a one-day experiential event that featured renown and local designers, stylists and makeup artists.

The day benefitted the Ellen Hermanson Foundation, a nonprofit that helps provide breast cancer patients with state-of-the-art health care.
