Finding that special someone can be a tough task.
Likewise, many of want to see our loved ones happy and not having to struggle to get a date.
While you could advise hopping on a dating app and telling them to show their best qualities to potential matches, you might also think you can speed the process up by taking action into your own hands.
That is what one woman did when she set up a dating profile for her brother after becoming fed up of waiting for him to find the perfect partner, reports Cornwall Live and the Mirror .
Helen Stubbs shared the hilarious advert on Facebook – and it’s not the first time she’s done something like this.
Helen Stubbs set up a dating profile for her Army Reservist brother Tom
Each year the concerned sister pens a post asking the eligible women of the internet if they will go out with her brother Tom, an Army reservist.
And clearly she’s yet to find the lucky lady set to become her future sister-in-law as she’s back at it and this year her post lists all the positive things about her 34-year-old brother.
She wrote: “Yes, you’ve all been waiting for it – today is the day for the annual ‘Will anyone go out with my brother‘ post.
“A different vibe this year with a focus on the positives because that’s a nice thing to do. I promise I won’t mention his big head once.”
These “positives” included the fact that Tom enjoys gaming, drinking tea and hates Brexit.
Helen also described her brother as “spontaneous”, “a nice boy”, “loyal”, “very clean” someone who “wears flip flops 52 weeks of the year” and will go for a pint with literally anyone”.
Her post has had over 200 likes, more than 50 shares and hundr of comments – with many women offering themselves up for a date with Tom.
