The Vanderpump Rules cast jetted over to the festival and a few cast members from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills attended together too. Some of the women loaded videos and photos to their Instagram story checking out the bands, shopping for merchandise and visiting one cast member who happened to be working at the event.
The cast also checked out one item from their swag bag, which seemed completely bizarre. So who went, who did they visit and what in the world was in that swag bag?
Kyle Richards, along with Teddi Mellencamp and Lisa Rinna hit the first day of the festival together. Also, Mellencamp’s husband Edwin Arroyave and Richards’ husband Mauricio Umansky were also included in a few pictures and video too.
From videos and images, it looks like the first day was picture perfect. Blue skies and comfortable evening temperatures made way for festival goers to hit a number of acts. At one point Richards observes singer Kacey Musgraves on stage. Richards has been told she and Musgraves looked alike.
“Watching my doppelganger,” Richards posted on her story. “We’re on our way to Coachella because we’re big Kacey Musgraves fans,” Mellencamp says in her Instagram story. Richards admits to not knowing any of her songs but she had to check her out since people say they look alike.
Coachella-goers can spend a fortune at the festival. From the food and drinks to the merchandise, it is easy to drop thousands of dollars. The ladies came across the Erika Jayne ShoeDazzle display and started making a list of what shoes they wanted.
The huge display was part of an exclusive late night party hosted by Nylon Media. Nylon’s Midnight Garden Party provided tons of shoe eye candy and Erika Girardi herself spinning some discs. The women spend time by the D.J. booth while Girardi throws down beats and keeps the party going.
And what in the world?
At the end of the night, the women review their swag bag. Richards comes across one confusing item that turns out to be something pretty hilarious. “This is the party favor,” Richards says checking out a box with the writing, “Voodoo PlugWalk” across the front. She wrote, “We do not know what this is” across the video.
The item has a giant faux jewel at the bottom and a spade-looking silver top. “It’s a bedazzled, butt jewel,” Richards exclaims. The women giggle and ponder the item. Amazon sells this item and offers a pretty specific description. Apparently, the item is “completely waterproof” and comes in various sizes. Richards received a medium. “This is a real situation,” she exclaimed.
